Flaxseed – A Great Pancake Recipe

Last night I tried the Quinoa Cakes with FLAXSEED – I was the only one who ate them.  I may not have added enough broth to them so I will try to make them again and if they turn out I will send out that recipe.

BUT I do have another recipe with FLAXSEED that I have tried and it is FANTASTIC! A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR DAY, BEFORE YOUR WORKOUT.

PANCAKES WITH FLAXSEED AND PROTEIN PACKED:

1/2 cup old- fashioned

1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

2 egg whites *

1/3 cup low – fat low sodium cottage cheese

 

* Preferable from fresh eggs, not a carton, as if changes the consistency.

 

Optional toppings:

Sugar – free maple syrup

Blueberries

Walnuts
