This week has been an interesting week for me and for my workouts. First of all, I am in a bit of a transition since I have been traveling and away from home for about 5 weeks. Throughout the traveling time I was able to spend some time with Rhonda in the studio with having 1on1’s and group trainings. It is so funny working out with Rhonda in the studio since I am so used to seeing her through Skype, it makes me giggle sometimes.
Now I am at home and settling back into my routine. The main issue that I am dealing with is a pretty new diagnosis of having Rheumatoid Arthritis. My joints have been hurting throughout my entire body and I have been real uncomfortable. To deal with my hurdles Rhonda and I have been doing mainly stretching/ meditation type classes to get fluids to my joints and allow me to mentally deal with my pain.
It’s been difficult keeping my program going and It’s been hard because the pain from my body tires me out so I have no energy. But Rhonda has kept me going in almost a sweet spiritual way to to do my workouts and it never fails, I always feel much better. Rhonda really cares about us and we are so lucky to have her as our trainer. It’s very important for people with my chronic disease to keep moving. Thanks Rhonda!
I am glad that I am able to share this with you and hopefully be able to help anyone that is going through the same type of process. You can still keep your program going but communication with your trainer and educating yourself on your health issue will help you become stronger. And YES you can still workout but you may need to do it in different modifications based on your day.
Please BLOG if you would like to add anything about yourself. If you have any questions for me I would love to hear from you through this BLOG.
Good luck,
Estelle
