At the studio here we are working on our consumption of water Just taking baby steps of adding an additional 2 glasses of water a day to what each person is doing, if they are under. There is a wide range of water drinking, from no glasses of water a day up to at least 8 glasses a day.
Why is hydration so critical?
Water makes up about two-thirds of our body weight-muscles alone are 75% water. It regulates your appetite and your body temperature, keeps energy levels high. Water also helps remove the dangerous toxins that your body takes from the air you breathe, lubricates and cushions your joints, and is essential to the function of your cells.
In reviewing water consumption there are so many other things that water does for you that I couldn’t list them all. In basic terms since water is about 2/3rd’s of our body it is essential. This is where you are going to get your energy, water is going to assist you in bouncing back from your workout, and also allow your muscles to fire with energy.
